I wanted to do some kind of picture in remembrance to the 9/11 disaster ten years ago, and a tribute to all those who gave their lives and risked their lives to do what they could do in the chaos. I don't remember much myself, I was only in grade 1. But the sadness has echoed down through the years.

This is something no one can forget.

This image was the first thing in my head when I started thinking of Hetalia and 9/11. I first just wanted to draw America only, but that was so depressing looking at him all alone. So when I decided to put in Canada I thought it better because first of all Canada and America are so close and everything. Also, America doesn't seem so lonely with his little brother there to help him up.

I guess even the Hero needs a bit of help sometimes, eh, Alfred?

Love how this turned out, although it's sad to think about why I drew this.

Should I feel triumphant or guilty or sad?

Right now I feel so depressed.
